Home Sweet Home
This weekend, I am heading back home to visit friends and family! I have a pretty long drive back home because I live near Chicago in a Northwest suburb of Illinois. It usually takes about four hours to get home so I am definitely bringing my iPod and magazines to keep me occupied in the long car ride. My cousin is picking me up and bringing me home because she lives in Carmel, Indiana. I am really excited to see my family and catch up with my friends. I am loving college life so far, though! But of course, it will be really nice to see everyone back at home. (:

I know what you feel like. I am super excited to go home and see my family. But, I only live in Fort Wayne. It's only about an hour drive. I don't know if i would be able to do the four hour drive. That would stink. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what your talking about. I also can't wait to get home and hang out with my friends i left behind. I'm also kind of glad that I didn't stay at BSU cause it seems like everyone else around me was going home also. The only person that i knew of in the general area in my hall was my roomate. Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI went home this weekend too :) I couldnt wait to see my family and friends. I am a big family person and i have missed them a lot so i was so excited. I feel like i will be ready to go back to BSU though on Monday. Chicago is a really long drive. I live in Columbus Indiana so its only like an hour and 45 min for me. I hope your having a good weekend so far though!
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. I am also going home this weekend and am really excited to go see all my friends back at home again. I am lucky and do not have not much over an hour drive back, but even in that short(er) drive back I will probly also have to find things to occupy me since it seems like I always have to in car rides. Hope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are far from home! I'm lucky to only live about a half an hour away from home. I can't believe having to drive so far to get home!
ReplyDeleteBut I think we alll understand how you feel. I think no matter how much fun you're having at college, there is just no place like home :) I love being with my family and home town friends (when they are home too)! It's just great :)
