Today I had my HIST 150 class in the Alumni center instead of at the Teachers College. There was a presentation about Darfur, so our professor decided he would assign us a worksheet about the presentation for 100 points instead of class today. I left to go to the Alumni center at 3:15....unfortunately I waited for the shuttle for ten minutes before being told that it was too fold for anyone else to ride on. My friend and I decided to walk because we would be late if we waited any longer. Well...if was fine at first...until it started to POUR. We started to run because we were freezing and we were running late. It was NOT fun running in the rain. I hope I don't get sick! Have a great weekend everyone!
My roommate has that same class! She was really mad because she already is sick, and the professor didn't care. He said she would lose the points if she didn't go. So she got stuck in the rain too :| That's the bad thing this whole college "open campus" thing. Cold and rain :(
ReplyDeleteAww..Yesterday was such a yucky cold and rainy day. It felt like a Monday to me. I was walking down to the Burkhart Building around 5 for a sorority thing and my friend and I luckily caught the shuttle but right after we got off it started to rain. Im so jealous if people with cars. This wouldn't happen if we could just drive places!

ReplyDeleteI had that about having to walk to my classes. I never know if it is gonna start raining or how cold it will be walking from classes!! I am not looking forward to the winter because I can barely handle walking to classes now in this cold !
ReplyDeleteI got lucky enough not to have to walk in the rain that day! everytime i was outside it had just stopped raining! And sadly, it snowed on Friday which was pretty but it's not even december yet! haha.
