Muncie Mall...Not quite what I had in mind.

Yesterday, me, my roommate Heather, and her fraternal twin sister Emily all decided to venture out to Muncie Mall.  After a few loads of laundry and some breakfast, we met up at the bus stop in anticipation for the trip.  Turns out, we missed the bus by a few minutes so we had to wait another half hour for the Mitts bus to come by.  At least it was nice and sunny out. :)  When the bus arrived, we got on and noticed that it was PACKED (and I mean awkwardly packed...like no personal space type of thing).  Well, that didn't discourage us.  After about a half hour of holding onto the railings and trying not to trip over each other, we got off at the mall.  We were a little disappointed that the only stores we liked were American Eagle, Victorias Secret, and Bath and Body Works.  I think next time we will walk around the department stores when we have more time.  Anyway, I ended up buying a pair of jeans and a new purse.  (Not that you really care haha, just thought I'd share).  So I guess the point of all of this is that you should make sure you have the time if you want to go to the mall because the bus takes forever and the shops aren't too exciting. But then again, a mall is a mall and shopping will always be fun. :)

  1. I went to the mall with friends yesterday too, and i agree completely. Even though it was fun and something to do I think that the mall its self is not worth the wait you have to go through to get there. Maybe if i had a car on campus I would have a different opinion but the sad reality is i don't. Over all the best thing that i got from the mall was this awesome oreo shake. :D

  2. I used the bus for the first time yesterday too, and I had to wait for nearly a half hour. I, however, went to Walmart to buy more water and drinks. I'm probably going to try and stay away from the mall! I need to save my money!!!

  3. I agree! shopping is always fun. I had a similar experience being oh the bus when it was packed. I really wished that i didn't take it because I felt like I couldn't breathe in there. it was so awkward! Also, the mall needs better stores!
